ST. LOUIS, MO (PRWEB) MAY 18, 2017
CrisisGo, the creator of a mobile safety assistant for schools, public venues, and the workplace, and No Bully, a respected national leader in the bullying-prevention sector, announced they are joining forces to help schools develop a bully-free environment. The alliance will enable No Bully content and best practices to be integrated in the CrisisGo Bully Tool and be shared through the application. CrisisGo will also incorporate the No Bully System® principles into its platform to help schools with its implementation. The two partners share a common vision that the easy reporting of bullying is critical to making schools bully-free which can be facilitated by technology. The two companies also plan to drive broader awareness of these issues and will jointly hold a webinar on EdWeb on June 5th, 2017.
In March, CrisisGo made its Bully tool available for free to all K-12 schools in the United States. The mobile safety assistant makes reporting incidents easy. It also includes an information channel that can be used by schools to share information with their constituents; and parents, guardians, and students can access resources on bullying and cyberbullying. No Bully is a US based non-profit organization that trains schools how to activate student compassion to stop bullying and cyberbullying. Schools trained by No Bully are able to resolve over 90% of bullying incidents.CrisisGo is integrating No Bully content and best practices on the CrisisGo platform for sharing to K-12 schools, including guidance for school staff, students and parents and guardians. At an upcoming webinar sponsored by EdWeb on June 5th, No Bully Founder and CEO, Nicholas Carlisle, will discuss how No Bully has successfully partnered with school districts and communities across the country to contain the risks posed by bullying and cyberbullying; and CrisisGo's Alex Ruwe will discuss the role of technology.
"We believe that mobile can be transformative to make bully reporting easy," said Jim Spicuzza, Founder and Chief Product Officer at CrisisGo. "Joining forces with No Bully was the natural next step to bring best practices and content to the platform.""Schools need to be using anonymous reporting tools such as CrisisGo that make it easy for students to get the help they need," notes Nicholas Carlisle, No Bully Founder and CEO. "We are excited to see technology helping schools accelerate their journeys to end bullying."
